A union inspection of the Sheraton Maui Resort was done on January 21, 2021. Inspectors observed the following:

The hotel driveway and valet area didn’t have signage regarding face masks, social distancing or other COVID policies.

Floor marking for social distancing was damaged, and at least one sign informing guests of hotel’s face mask rules was found damaged and laying sideways on floor.

There was no hand sanitizer for workers on counting cash desk. There were hand sanitizers in areas including front office, bell & valet, and food & beverage.
